Occupant safety systems rely on active sensors and microprocessors to trigger pre-crash and in-crash occupant protection (such as tightening safety belts and deploy airbags) when it judges a collision is inevitable. Critical crash information is sent over e-call to emergency services and recorded for post-crash analysis.
What you'll do?
You will have the chance to develop and test state-of-the-art Restraint Control Units (ECUs) with as many as 40 protections and 14 crash sensors;
Setup the appropriate test environment according to the project needs ;
Define relevant test cases with the target to ensure the best requirements coverage ;
Design automated test scenarios using a specific test language and validate the corrections and the modifications;
Perform test, generate reports and submit the potential issues
Analyze and track the issues within the defined process .
What you'll bring
Knowledge of Software and/or System testing techniques
Good programming skills (any environment like C, Python, MS Jscript);
Good microcontrollers understanding;
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, LIN) and Inter IC protocols (SPI, I2C);
Strong team orientation and problem solving attitude;
Previous test experience in the automotive industry would also be a plus.
